I know you are a personality - you give advice, travel in celebrity circles, go to fancy parties, and talk on the radio.... but what exactly is it that you do??
Answer:
I have been hearing that question, politely phrased, for most of my life. Sure, plenty of people have heard of my exploits.... but very few people can keep up!
You know Lucy Lipps.... Tall, big blonde hair, bright smile, the curvy, buxom blonde in those ultraglam clothes and high heels. The babe who is everywhere: London, New York, Beverly Hills, Houston (Fixed base of operation) and Aspen. But, who am I and what do I do?
I am a radio-cable Goddess/spokeswoman/Cyber-babe/analyst/businesswoman. Through my multiple lives so far, I have had the opportunity to be Queen of the international party tornado of fun and spend time with some of the world's most amazing men and women; with years of good tips to my credit (just ask my friends) it has made me a leading authority on romance and the art of being a contemporary Sex Goddess.
I was raised in South Texas (circa early 70's), in the small shrimping town of Freeport. I stayed in this small community until the tender age of 19 and with very little experience (and a few beauty crowns) and a lot of ambitions I moved to the big city of Houston. Through strokes of self-marketing magic, the help of wonderful friends, good timing, luck, the art of survival, and most of all determination, I rose to prominence in a number of fields in a brief time.
When I got started on my journey for self-improvement or my rise to the top, I did not understand the concept of "you can't do that", or "that is impossible --what experience do you have"? Remember, if they throw you out the front door, you go in the back door. And if they throw you out the back door, you go in the window. And if they throw you out the window, you stay persistent! You most of all NEVER take it personally. If you see yourself as a victim, others will treat you as a victim.
If you do not know the rules, then you have no limitations. That has always been and continues to be my guideline for success. In work and in love, with friends and with lovers. From nightlife to daytime. But the time I arrived in Houston, I thought I could conquer the world. If I had listened to anyone else, I might not have made it this far! Your inner-self is the best friend you will ever have, so always travel first class! Knowledge is power and no one can ever take that away from you!
When I was younger, men were my role-models.... and it was men from whom I would derive my power. But I have to say in the history of the world (and my personal experience) no man that was sane or sober gave his power away to a woman.
The best resources you have is the ones within yourself, take advantage of them. If you love yourself (remember, confidence is one of the things that the opposite sex finds attractive) everyone else will too!
I am not a professional therapist. I am not an extraordinary woman. I have (in my short life) done some extraordinary things. I was not born the most beautiful, but I made myself as beautiful as I can be. This is done by starting on the inside and working your way out. I was an average student . . . who often learned things the hard way. I was not born to royalty . . . but I was privileged enough to have instilled in me the strength and drive that equipped me to face the challenges of life.
You will have ups and downs in life. This is what makes life challenges attractive and enticing. My life has been way up and I coasted. I have also been at low points, where I lost my ass literally and became anorexic and bulemic. But, as most real players in life, I bounced back, changed directions, focused on my priorities and went on to pursue a number of challenging projects.
I am a business woman who can and will do anything that I want! Business, Broadcasting, Writing, Designing, Production. Even just being me! I have discovered something wonderful people have taken an interest in... my image! I began marketing myselves. Merchandising my me-ness on everything from cable to cyber-space. I know that when I put my mind, heart, soul and boobs into a project it will be a success! Never take no for an answer!
